My post today goes away from the movies as I am posting a podcast for Bookcamp Class about things to do in Topeka. There is a surprising amount of things that would keep anyone busy all year around.
Topeka Road Runner’s Ice hockey games at the Topeka Expo Center tonight and tomorrow at 7:05pm in the Landon Arena. Tickets are as low as $11 and they play also next Friday and Saturday, November 25th and 26th at 7:05pm.
Another event tonight (Friday the 18th) is the Grand Re-opening of the Governor’s Row House. The admission is free and there are light hors’d’oeuvres and cocktails. Sounds kind of fun to me. That’s from 5-9pm on 811 South Buchanan, Topeka.
